Christmas in October 2009

Christmas in October, aboard Tapestry in Newport. Each year over the long Columbus day weekend we celebrate Christmas in October with many other boats in Newport at the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina. Everyone decorates their boats.. this year is the third straight year we came in second place. . . . . . drat! We will try again next year. Bob dressed as a lobster and as we left Newport we did a victory lap around the harbor sounding our horn and waving to all the other boats and the people coming and going from the cruise ships that were in the harbor.
