We had snow today, a bit less than a foot but enough to snarl the whole state --- but then again the state is small. I snapped this shot out in the front yard as the afternoon sun was trying to come out.

World Wide Panoramas

The quarterly exhibition of the World Wide Panoramas group is now up and running. This is a group of panoramic photographers from around the world that shoot on the equinox and solstices to produce an exhibition of 360º images. I have been participating with this group since it's beginning in 2004. Each winter solstice is the "Best Of". Check out the Best of 2010 here.

When I woke up this morning the day was filled with fog and just enough light to get my photo mind working so I went down to the Providence waterfront and got this shot. I shot several others but the fog was very thick.  I'm thinking this is the best of the lot. (This is not a panorama)
