Stepping Stone Falls in West Greenwich, Rhode Island was completely unknown to me just a few weeks ago. Thanks Andrea for telling me about his beautiful place.
This is the first of many that were shot and will be shot here. I stopped here after work and shot several panoramas. This place has a beautiful spirit and I will return when I have more time and can relax and explore.

Was this originally a quarry? Who cut the stones and for what purpose? Very interesting and with further foliage out, quite beautiful.
The granite foundation slabs from my late brother's home in the area, built 1804, were thought to have been quarried from this area.
