I shot this the other morning on my way into work. It was about 30 F degrees outside with just a bit of mist rising off the water about 5 minutes after sunrise. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful state as Rhode Island and have this kind of glory around every corner.

Providence Clouds Time Lapse

I shot this short time lapse this afternoon on the parkway in East Providence overlooking the Providence River and Providence. This 12 seconds represents about an hour. It is best viewed if you switch over to Vimeo and watch it at full screen.

Driving through the East Side of Providence I found a couple of interesting houses to take pictures of while killing time to pick up a friend. Providence is full of great houses and you could spend a lifetime photographing them. This was not ideal lighting conditions but you can get an idea of the architectural styles. Rhode Island Community Food Bank

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Ben and I visited the Rhode Island Community Food Bank today during their open house and they were gracious enough to allow me to shoot some panoramas while we were there. What an amazing place and so needed. Ben helped with a food drive with the Scouts a few weeks ago and collected lots of food, but the ware house here was amazing.  Check out the panoramas below.

The Foundry Show, Pawtucket, RI

We made our annual trip to Pawtucket to attend the Foundry show. This is a fantastic show of Rhode Island area artists from all fields. You can find most anything here.  Kathy Weber has been a long time friend and we go every year to see just what she has been painting..it is always a treat, and her prices are reasonable, as is true throughout the show.
